Each liquid facelift is 100% tailored and customized by Dr. Jane to suit the patient’s particular needs. The treatment is a multi-layered approach based on a patient’s areas of concern and goals. Jenesis No Scar Facelift is a technique for injecting advanced dermal fillers, such as Juvederm ® , Radiesse ® , Belotero ® , and Bellafill ® to lift and contour facial features. Ultherapy, Active FX, and Jenesis kibella injection to remove fat on the face and neck. A non-surgical Liquid Face Lift can be undertaken to accomplish any of the following:
- Gentle lift of individual (or overall) facial features
- Reduced wrinkles, creases, line or folds
- Restoration of natural, curved facial contours
- A more rested look
In some patients the goal of a non-surgical Liquid Face Lift procedure is to lift the entire face. In others, the goal is to lift or contour specific facial features. For example, under eye bags and dark circles can be masked by using Liquid Facelift techniques; eyes can be opened up and lids lifted; jowls can be lifted and diminished; natural shape can be restored to flattened cheeks or temple areas; corners of the mouth can be lifted; and bumps on the nose can be hidden. Many of these conditions and contouring procedures are discussed on this web site, as well as treatment procedures for a variety of wrinkles, folds and lines.
A Liquid Face Lift involves the use of advanced dermal fillers, sometimes in combination with BOTOX®, Dysport®, or Xeomin®. The dermal fillers used are among a group of 2nd generation injectables that provide more enduring results than earlier products. These advanced dermal fillers includes JUVEDERM®Ultra, JUVEDERM® Ultra Plus, Radiesse®, Restylane®, Belotero and Bellafill are considered as semi-permanent fillers.*
Each of these dermal fillers has unique attributes that work in their own special way to rejuvenate specific areas of the face. In general, dermal fillers replace lost volume in the face or help the body regenerate its own collagen. Precisely placed, the dermal fillers can be used to lift or contour any number of facial features. BOTOX®, Dysport®, or Xeomin® may be used in conjunction with the dermal fillers to provide added lift and to help the endurance of the dermal fillers.
As we age, our facial skin tends to sag. We start to notice bags and dark circles under our eyes, drooping neck skin, and sagging cheeks. Some people undergo a facelift to tighten their skin and restore their youthfulness. However, the idea of an invasive procedure like a facelift may not be appealing to everyone.
For those of you who desire a perfectly contoured face without going under the knife and dealing with unwanted downtime, we have just the solution for you: a liquid facelift. This is a minimally invasive non-surgical procedure that is designed to lift your face, restore its contours, and add volume back to your face.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
A. A liquid facelift is a procedure in which dermal fillers like Juvederm, Radiesse, Belotero, PDO thread are injected just underneath the skin to ease away wrinkles, restore contours, and fill in hollow regions.
Many dermal fillers are developed from a substance called Hyaluronic Acid. Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring sugar in the human body. This means that these dermal fillers are unlikely to be rejected by the body and are quite safe.
A liquid facelift can lift the skin and improve one’s overall facial appearance, making a person look more energetic and youthful. Even under eye bags and dark circles can be addressed using liquid fillers. Some women choose to use a liquid facelift only to enhance a few facial features, while others use it to enhance their face completely.
A. Because the liquid facelift is a minimally invasive non-surgical procedure, it involves no scalpels, incisions, or stitches. At the start of the procedure, the areas to be treated are numbed with a topical anesthetic. The dermal fillers are then injected just beneath the skin in key areas.
The dermal fillers work by filling in sunken areas and smoothing away wrinkles and folds on the face. The improved facial volume lifts your face and makes you look refreshed and younger.
A. Avoid painkillers such as aspirin and ibuprofen in the time leading up to your liquid facelift. Also avoid any fish or fish oil pills because these are blood thinners and may cause bruising to last longer. If you happen to be taking beta blockers or any blood-pressure medications, consult your physician to see whether the dosages of any of these medicines need to be altered.
A. Because the liquid facelift is non-surgical, you should not expect to need to take time off from work. The procedure is quite quick, as is the recovery. Immediately after the liquid facelift, you are likely to notice some slight swelling and bruising around the areas that have been treated. To bring these down, apply ice packs to the area as directed.
Full results are visible in around 14 days once the swelling has disappeared, and the filler has settled. Typically, your results will be visible for 1 to 2 years. We suggest that you come in for follow-up injections to maintain the results of the liquid facelift.
